"Portraits. Africa" is the selection of portraits taken during our numerous trips to Africa.

The presented photographs are selection from a bigger project called "Shadows and lights. Africa". It consists of almost 200 photographs and takes the form of a slide show, presented in time with a specially chosen soundtrack. Individual parts of the material are compiled to the rhythm of both genuine regional music and works inspired by Africa.

The photographs, which constitute a personal recording of multiple journeys through the continent, were taken in the years 2005 – 2010 in Algeria, Ethiopia, Kenya, DR Congo, Lesotho, Mali, South Africa, Rwanda, Swaziland, Tanzania and Uganda.
